So what if it's 100 degrees outside? It's a beautiful day for a hike!
We explored 5 miles of trails winding through shady wooded hills, rushing river bottoms, and slippery slopes. We discovered a very fun suspension bridge (Which totally gave the girls the willies! It didn't help that the boys all bounced together on the bridge to make us sway in the air!), climbed a steep mountain, and crossed a little river.
It was a long hike, but the scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed the adventure. It was such a bonding way to spend a Saturday morning.
